Locale is a mobile platform designed to help people discover local culture through food, markets, and events happening around them in real time. Unlike traditional restaurant directories, Locale focuses on dynamic experiences such as street food vendors, pop up kitchens, night markets, and community events.
The platform connects users with local businesses by providing a live discovery feed and interactive map that surfaces trending food experiences nearby. Vendors can update their locations, menus, and events, allowing them to reach customers instantly while building a following within their community.
The project explores product design, brand identity, and scalable design systems while addressing a real problem faced by mobile food vendors and event organizers: visibility and discoverability.
The design system emphasizes bold typography, high contrast colors, and a modular card interface to support a fast and intuitive discovery experience.
